Yes. Free without credit card: profiles, leads, products and locations. You can start the app without hardware, too.
Do I need a subscription for a display?
No. Hardware works with its destination and is managed on the Free plan.

Where is data hosted?
App and API run on AWS in Frankfurt (eu-central-1). The shop runs on Shopify.
